XJR passenger size, by year/model?
Thinking about purchasing a used 2004 XJR because I'm told roominess inside for driver is better as of 2004..... Hmmm good enough for a 6'-4" 265 lbs linebacker? I love small cars, fit great in our 2006 VW GTI and loved my 69 Vette... so, let me know if you think the 2004+ models (4" higher, 3" wider and 2" longer) will accommodate, AND if there are aftermarket seat lowering options, that work.
Second part is what to watch out for on inspecting high mileage cars. Leaky engine seals, where? Timing belt replacement, 100K, full service records, maintenance, and carfax. Anything else? Thanks!@

Welcome QDP, you will get better responses to a specific question such as this over in the XJR section. The only bit of advice that I could offer would be try before you buy.
Certainly the older XJ cars are big on the outside but short on the inside I am nowhere near your dimensions, but have the seat on the old XJ all the way back.

Yes, definitely a better fit in X350s (04 up) than X308s or 300s. Same with XK8s compared to XKs. I'm 6' 5" and ride far more comfortably in the XK and X350. The 350s not only have more headroom, but more options for the large person with adjustable pedals. If there is one small complaint, I don't quite get enough swing with tilt/telescopic steering wheel in the 350 as I'd like, but it makes it. The wheel seemed to get out of the way farther on the X300.
