XJSrookie
Hello, I'm XJSROOKIE and have been a Jaguar owner for two weeks. I've been a Jaguar admirer forever. My Jag is a 1994 XJS Convertible, V12, 6.0L, with 65,000 miles. Bought it in SC and drove it home to eastern PA. Ran great although very thirsty. Had a pre-purchase inspection done, some items missed i.e. 9 year old tires, AC not working, leaky pinion seal and other things. Still happy with the purchase...
I can tell you from my own personal experience, the first thing you Must do is get new tires! 9 years is Way beyond replacement time.
You'll really enjoy our XJS section, those guys know Everything about the XJS and V12s. They'll tell you to get new tires too, it's not just me.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
