Hello fellow Jag enthusiasts, I am basically a car guy who had the good fortune to have a Father-in-Law who was a pre-eminent car enthusiast, who stoked my passions that were beyond his daughter's expertise. Suffice to say father time caught up with him last summer and as the nearest relative, currently with time due to Covid etc, I have been carefully sifting through his many collections, sorting keepers from sellers. Mindfully, everything is in a state of repair/disrepair, including the XK140's which have not moved since 1970 ish. While the Jags are not coveted by family members in their current condition (2 are "field finds" (pictured); 1 is a "barn find"); All for the most part are complete. I have had plenty of tire kicker offer to "take them off my hands", and could sell them tomorrow.
Why am I here and what is my purpose???
I am seeking one restored XK140 - in trade for the remaining two Jag's. Is this feasible trade?
Can you put me in contact with someone I can pursue this with?
Thank you for your time and attention,
Chas

Any trade if feasible - just the cash adjustment that often makes it impractical. The cost of taking any Jaguar (including even the coveted E-Type) from restoration project to fully restored always exceeds the final value if done professionally. Talented amateur enthusiasts can balance this equation but the commitment in time and effort is enormous.
