xk8 convertibles in Montana, USA
Hi, I joined a while back but never posted until yesterday regarding a misfire code on my running 1997 xk8 convertible, thanks for the quick response. I also have a second identical (except interior color) xk8 with a bad motor that I picked up for parts for $800.00 with brand new tires that I figured was a screaming deal, have not had to cannibalize it yet though. Love the xk8, can't wait for summer to get here in the frozen north.

Welcome! I suspect (owning property in eastern Montana myself) that there are pretty few Jaguars in the "frozen north" as you put it. Your joining the forum makes three active participants that I know of...

I grew up in Montana (between Great Falls and Havre), and I never even Saw a Jaguar until I got sick and tired of snow and ice, 9 months of winter and 3 months hard sledding, and escaped to California. I can't even imagine how you found TWO of them!

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

The running one I bought in San Francisco when I was working there a while back, the other came from Missoula, found it on Craigslist.
