Hello everybody,an old mechanic thats more familiar with plugs and points that has just bought a 99 xk8 drophead thats who I am,hope to help as much as hoover up the great info. here.

Follow Norri's link to the XK8/XKR section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues. The ones to look out for on the XK8 are early plastic tensioners, thermostat/water pump and transmission fluid change.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
