Interested in breathing a bit of life into my v12 XJS


I have read that the 3.54 diff head makes a significant difference to the performance.


From what I understand, these can be obtained still but the not necessarily with the 'powerloc' option


Does any of the NZ forum members know where I could get one of these and is there an issue with the non powerloc option?


Also - I have read that the throttle bodies can be honed out to 73mm along with the AJ16 butterflies - does anyone do this modification in NZ

Did you have any idea on the throttle body query?

 

Ray might be able to do it, or know someone who can... but really, any engineering shop should be able to do it. It should be quite easy if you disassemble it for them first, and then either fit the AJ16 butterflies, or make your own.

The other option is send your throttle body to Maxbore.com throttle body boring service and repair in Florida. He bored out my throttle body, and did a great job, although it can take a while for shipping
