1952 Chevy Biscayne
I had one of these old cars and loved it! Two door with 3 on the tree. Had vacuum wipers and dealer installed heat. Even came with the wind up dash clock but not the optional oil filter!
I was the last of the "half oiling" chevies. It ran 7.5 lbs of pressure at idle and about 12 lbs at 60 mph!
Black with blue interior.

This is funny...you should have held onto that very "rare" Chevy considering they did not make a 1952 Biscayne.
Biscayne first came out in 1958 and ran until 1972. In 1952 Chevrolet made Fleetline and Styleline. There were a variety of models uner the Styleline one of which was the Bel Air but no Biscayne.

Hi
My older brother bought a 1952 Chevrolet Belair Convertible from the Chevy dealership's owner wife in 1953. According to the information on the internet, the Belair name did not official became a Chevy model line series until 1953. The Chevy belair was part of the Style model line from 1950 thru 1952.
Here are 2 photos of the 1952 Chevrolets:
First one is the Chevy Belair (Style line) Convertible:

This other photo is the Hardtop model:

By the way, my brother made major changes after he bought the convertible. Full custom treatment to the interior and exterior. Replaced Chevy six cylinder with Oldsmobile super 88 V8 along with transmission and 4-11 rearend. Painted car with red over a golden undertone.
It was close to being a showcar.

Nice discussion - funny finding it in a Jaguar forum. I own a 1948 Chevy Fleetmaster 2dr Town Sedan that's basically stock except for the chrome wheels that are on her. My car is the last of the Chevy "fat fenders".

I've got a 1957 Chevy V8 210 - love her to bits ............... regularly!

Tri-Chevys are rare here in Scotland, so they attract a fair amount of attention at shows - I think there's less than 15 here and not all on the road.
