1990 BMW 325ix
OH YEA...if you guys remember that post about the 2door red one I found months back I found a different one in D.C. Just had it shipped up last week. 162K miles on her little I6 motor. Diamond Black/Tan leather (EXACTLY what I love...couldnt believe it). Power everything, heated seats, electric sunroof, 5spd, 30mpg, original BMW tech owner. Only 2600 "ix" AWD models were imported to US from 88-91. Only 397 were 5spds......puts my Jags rareness to shame..haha. I plan on having her for a WHILE..no more Jeeps for winter when I have this beast with heated seats!!

Congrats! although probably a little slower then the cars you posted last week, a very nice example none the less. I really like the "time capsule cars" that still look great despite their age. 1990 was a great year ( we had 2 750iLs V12) and i miss them dearly! im not sure bout the all wheel drive versions but i know those old 3 series could be very reliable if taken care of. youre the one that has a 750 also?

yup im the one with the 98 750 too, it's my dads. It looks so funny to see mine and his sitting next to each other...the BIG DADDY V12 next to the Baby 6...haha. I love mine to death already and have no intention of getting rid of it. It's immaulate and has been maintained beautifylly over the years and I plan to keep it that way. It moves right along, the AWD ix model is damn even with the sportier is version as far as performance. The 5spd makes it feel alot faster too...lol but not even close to the M3 version of it back in the day.
Oh and by the way...after rethinking about the fact that theres only 397 5spd ix's IF theyre ALL running still that makes a damn rare car and Ive already decided not to drive it in the winter. Notta chance in hell. haha. Ive got enough money saved up and the rest of the summer to work with my 2 jobs to save a lil more up for another Cherokee like I've always had for winter. Ya, 21, and will have 3 cars all paid for that takes skill and I love the ignorant people that think Im rich with their Escorts and Cavaliers when their lame cars cost the same as all 3 of mine...thats why I LOVE OLD CARS!
BTW aquill if I ever sell my xj40 to get an X it's a serious contest between a black one or that sick blue color you have!

Im bored and thought Id post some recent pics of my little ix...lol. Im still waiting for snow to put it to the test! Just washed and waxed her today and changed out the tranny, transfer case, and front/rear diff fluids with that top of the line Redline fluids I had to special order! I can definitely feel a difference. This thing is a little tank and is running just perfect. Only thing Ive done to it since August is put sick snow tires on it and tint the windows...I couldnt resist!
