Super clean LR4 with 113000 miles on it. Everything works and really is spotless. HSE+ which has every single option available on it.

$16000.

5 liter V8 that I think it shares with an F type???

Am I nuts?

Anyone own one???

So I bought it. Has a Jag 5.0 v8 in it. Weighs as much as a small locomotive. Nice truck!

No...just the NA 5.0 v8 like the Jags of that era.

Coolant crossover is already leaking!!! Found that during the PPI and got the price lowered.

It is actually a "LUX" version.

I've bought cars with 100,000+ miles. Used them for commuter cars after I rebuilt the engine bays. New belts and hoses. Resealed all the aluminum pieces, changed all the sensors, new set of fuel injectors, that sort of thing. After that the things ran great for another 100,000 miles. Just had to replace the battery a few years later. At 200,000 I had to rebuild the suspension completely, all the rubber was perished and redo all the other again. If you love the car though, it's worth it as long as you can afford it. Sometimes it's cheaper to buy another one though. At any rate congratulations on your new car. I'm considering trying to replace all the plastic hoses with aluminum tubing, you should be able to take the plastic off and find someone to remake them in aluminum. Seems the best idea for longevity.

Am considering a Range Rover for the next tow vehicle - not sure if I'm nuts too! Let us know your impressions now that you have had it for a bit

So far so good.

Love the vehicle and its features and feel. Materials used are really top quality.

Engine is noisy as hell. 5.0 V8 LR dealer says they are all like that. But to me it is clattery. Think it may be fuel pump as it just doesn't sound like timing chains.

Either way it runs great!!!! Strong as hell. Nice growl.

Coming from an X5 it decidedly does not "Handle".

My son has had it up some Virginia "Roads" that go to mountain tops and said it acquitted it self very well. Mine is Lux HD so it has the top of the line drivetrain.

Coming from an X5 it decidedly does not "Handle". That is probably an understatement!

Engine is noisy as hell. That might be a deal breaker, need my peace and quiet especially for long trips.

But, The Q7 and the LR seem to be the only ones that have the trailer hitch assisting camera.

Thanks so much for the feedback

FWIW
We have the 2012 supercharged RR Sport. The engine is very quiet, the handling is excellent and we've used it for camping, serious sand dune off-roading, towing a 3.5 tonne boat and can't recommend it highly enough. Two high pressure hoses, minor air suspension work, boot strut - and that's it in 5 years
