My wife has a 94 MB E320 German coupe, not to many cars can take this one out of the hole. We have had it for 7 years. It now has 214k on the odometer. It has done nothing but bust my you know what for months and months. I try and do as much work on my own as I can. Including weekly trips to the salvage yard. She won't get rid of it no matter what. In December I bought another sweet 90 Black VDP with 80k, its a cream puff. Before Christmas I let her drive it to work, I haven't driven the car since! I have been working on her benz for months now. New engine harness, new MAF, sensors and exhaust. Yesterday I had to pull a headliner out of another because hers is sagged out. I replaced the LED in her dash for the temperature gauge and replaced some bulbs as well. NOW I am in the middle of fixing the worst rot in the rear quarter that you have ever seen. It would cost at least 2k to have this done, because the quarter needs to be cut out and have a new one welded in. But I'm doing the best I can. I own 3 90 Jags, the money put into all 3 doesn't add up to this one Benz. I will take the Jags over the Mercedes any time. It looks like she is too!

 

Maybe you can get rid of the Benz and she won't notice.
Possibly an opportunity for another Jag too!
