Thumbs up Jaguar C-X16 Revealed

Today Jaguar has revealed the Jaguar C-X16 concept car.

Jaguar’s C-X16 concept car displays all the signs of being a showstopper at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show

Read the full story to find the specifications and many photos of Jaguar C-X16: Jaguar C-X16 Revealed

Looks like a very good vehicle. Need to see if any changes will be made from concept to production. Hopefully they will do it like they did it for Evoque, without any changes to concept.

Yeah the car is awesome. If priced properly, this car is going to give run for money for some of the BMW models.

The interior is equally stunning, in red.

Makes me want to cancel the XKR-S and wait for this.

Tragic that an absolutely gorgeous piece of art like that only has 6 cylinders. Stick with the XKR-S dude.

I like it.... If I had to make one criticism I wish they did not lose XK oval at the front, reminds me very much of a Maserati

That was my thought too.
I suppose it was inevitable they'd use the big-grill style from the XF & XJ though.

The production version will likely have wood as a selection of veneers. I would think that the seats will also be changed to be more in line with what the XKs have as well.

The teaser videos seem to suggest the V6 engines will have a rather high pitched sound almost like a V12. We'll just have to wait for the actual production cars though. My guess the supercharged V6 will be the preferred option.

A twin turbo charged V6 would be cool instead of the supercharger. It would remind me of the XJ220! Beautiful car though! I love the idea of the "boost" button on the steering wheel. Reminds me of a video game.

WOW! Looks nice. I want one. I like it better than the new XK. And in comparison to the Cayman, against which it is supposed to compete, well... the Cayman will end up on the endangered species list.

I like it better than any current Jaguar or Porsche offering, however looks like a corvette rear end with aston body and a masarati front end.

Uh... and that's a bad thing? At least there's no "rice" component.

It lacks originality, imo.

And as to the rice component, I'm sure someone will fix that with an upgrade. lol
