I saw a SEDAN CONVERTIBLE today, something I don't think I've ever seen by any manufacturer. It was in pristine condition, except for the top ... it was billowing in the breeze. It appeared to be snapped to the frame but as we were moving in traffic I can not be sure. It had dual headlights. The trunk had a chrome trim piece above the license plate that extended across about 1/3 of the trunk. Sorry, no picture possible ... 60 mph and by myself at the time.

Any idea what year and model this might have been? How many of them were produced and still likely to be in use?

 

Almost every Jaguar model has been converted at some time. Crayford Engineering, a coachbuilder in the UK specialised in this type of conversion.


This was the Corsica project started by the factory and later completed by an independent specialist.
