JCNA Slalom Pictures
Yesterday, I competed in a JCNA slalom event. Salom is like an autocross but the course does not change so you can compare your times with people all over north america.
It was my first time driving the Jag competitively and my first time competiting in a couple of years and I had a blast.

Yes, I was working the car pretty hard and received some nice compliments on my drifting (aka power sliding) technique from some of the other competitors and spectators. The combination of low weight, lots of torque and skinny all-season tires make the E type a bit of a handful compared to other cars that I've autocrossed.
The car held up beautifully (and the engine didn't even get particularly hot) and I ended up putting about 300 more miles on it last weekend.
