Acquired a 2000 xk8 with an overheated engine. Trashed the valves. Would like to buy a good set of heads or a complete motor known to be good.

 

Parting a 97, 4.0L engine. Whole engine won't work for you as the block cracked and it leaks oil. And I am pretty sure mine is an AJ26 not 27. But maybe what you need would be interchangeable and still work?

Let me know what exactly you need (p/ns help, I am not a super smart guy inside the engine) and I can get some pics at least.

 

Dont think the heads will work. I think the aj26 may not have vvt or the sensors associated with it.
