2001 XJ8 Vanden Plas. 79,000 miles. I just bought it from the original owner a couple months ago. (He paid 70k for it!) Due to being laid off since, I'm selling it.


The rear view mirror, A/C, heated seats, rain sense wipers, rear park aid, and moon roof all work great. The rear of the headliner is sagging as they usually are, and a couple cracks are in the wood. The 2 drivers side lambs wool mats are missing. The interior could use a little cleaning, and there are a couple of small dings and minor scratches on the exterior.


I have replaced the front suspension bushings, a lower ball joint, sway bar end links, upper shock mounts, and 2 new tires. (the other 2 tires have a lot of tread left). I have also replaced the thermostat housing with a metal one, replaced the thermostat, intake gaskets, and the plastic crossover pipe. I've put over 1000 miles on the car since I got it, and it rides very smooth. Low miles, and steel lined engine (not nicosil). I had the valve covers off, and the engine has the newer tensioners. This car is really nice and rust free underneath as well.


I'm only selling it due to my work situation, and because I'm keeping my XJR.
