Default 64 MK2 For Sale in Florida. Some assembly required.

Too many projects and burned out on this one. This car is a rust free 1964 MK2 Jaguar with modified rear wheel arches. The car has a Chevy V8 with auto trans. Runs and drives well. Car was taken to bare metal and resprayed Ford Candy Red. I have no time to reassemble the car, and trying to do it 10 minutes at a time is just frustrating. I have everything that came off including all the glass and interior. There is a tear in the drivers seat and it is vinyl not leather so probably had a new interior some time in its life. A few hours of patience and reassembly will yield a $30,000 car. Asking $19,500 and pretty firm on that.

Here are some additional pics. The engine is a 350 Chevy with a Turbo 350 Trans. I did get the trunk seal and latch installed, and I have started on one door to get the weather strip in place. I bought a weather strip kit from Welsh including all the rubbers for the car, and a clip kit From XK's that has all the little trim clips that rivet on and hold the chrome in place.

I did get the rear glass in, but have since read that it is better to install it with the chrome trim in place on the rubber, so it will be best to take it out again. The wheel arches came out nicely. They are welded in rolled steel tube.

And you did the headliner before the windshields?

The headliner did not come out. This was meant to be a re-paint with a couple of mods, not a restoration.

I guess the pics came out upside down, but you can see the headliner in place front and rear.
