Plastic sounding rattle from rear of car.
I've posted about this before, but I had it in yesterday with my indie who took 2 days to try find it and took out the back seats etc and done some dampening of what they thought was the sound something between rear seats. But it's still there, talking to jaguar they said something like this was a common issue and there was some area that had to be welded or using a rivet..
But talking to the guy who was doing this work for the under warranty vehicles we didn't really understand each other as his English was limited, but he said the sound was more a creaking issue..
I do have a creaking noise when turning into a driveway for example, sounds like suspension type noise.. does any of the above sound familiar to anyone here who can help pinpoint this rattle, and know the fix for the creaking issue.. thanks guys..
In other news looks like a valve body replacement is in the very near future for me.. just hoping the extended warranty comes trough on that!

I bought a Jag XF 2017 model R Sport... Shame on Jaguar for using to much plastic inside... and much more bad things. I have fixed many unwanted noises. The worst one was from passenger side. On side of the passenger seat is a house cover for seat belt and the handle to lift up and down the seat. The handle is the problem, test it pushing with your finger. You will hear metal on metal noise... try to use a screwdriver to take the handle out and stick something between, or you can put some elastic rubber in the plastic house cover.
Hope that will fix your problem and you will understand what I just wrote.
Regards,
Luc
