New pics. I polished out the rims and they look a lot better. I'll be in town until Wed the 27 then i'm gone for a month and it comes off the market.
Also, I did a tune up and it is running great. I'd drive this thing if I had time to sort out the paperwork etc.
This is a sweet opprotunity to get a reliable jag that could be made into a good daily driver. It is an 89 XJS with a V8 Chevy fuel injected motor in it! This could be finished into a daily driver, a fun project, a good first car (cheap chevy parts and simple to learn on) or a weekend plaything.

It runs very well. Has new ECU, Plugs, Alternator, thermostat, fuel filter and paint. All of the electrical stuff works! Heated seats, power lumbar support, power windows and mirrors. The AC is not hooked up, but it is there.
It rides smooth, accelerates hard, brakes great and idles fine. It is currently on a NON-OPERATIONAL title, but with no back fees.
It is not a show car, the paint isn't perfect and the interior is good, but not perfect, but this is a good solid base for a reliable car that is easy and cheap to work on and maintain!
This is a 90% complete project to have a fun ride. It drives, but legally should be towed home. That is on you.

I took it to the smog place today and got another pre test. It is only a little high on NOX at 25 MPH. Should clear out with octane booster. I put it in, I just need to run this tank through and then fill it up again, I just don't have the time to do that right now as I'm leaving town
