Have for sale a 1989 Jaguar XJ-S 5.3l V12. Runs strong, rides smooth, new tires, new plugs, wires, cap and rotor (Marelli). Also two new catalytic converters. Just passed smog, registered until October of 2014. Body is straight, with only one dent/scrape on right rear wheel lip. Interior is clean, but driver's seat has a couple of rips. Center console wood needs replacing. Car runs well. Took it down to Barstow a month ago with no problems, averaged 19 mpg. I am partially disabled, and it is hard for me to squeeze into and get out of, so it has to go. Trans shifts very well. Always parked with a car cover on. (Cover included in sale). Car has cruise control, air conditioning, and power mirrors, Last time I used the AC though it blew warm air. Power mirrors and cruise control do not work. New Kenwood CD player installed 2 months ago, with remote, and power antenna. 160k miles Asking 3,950.00 or best. (Fresno)

I recently sold my '89 xj-s for $10, 800. Much lower mileage & no torn upholstery. If you could financially do it fix the a/c & cruise & upholstery & I'll bet you'd get a lot more for it?????

 

I wish I could afford to fix what is wrong with it, however, another reason for selling it is I am low on funds.
