Yep, Got into this one deeper than our pockets. We took on a beautiful Silver 90 XJS V12 as a project. See "couples therapy". Engine has been pulled cleaned and heads rebuilt. The body is immaculate. The only spot of rust on the whole car was the screws holding the front valence and the air dam.

We are testing the waters before we invest any more money at this point. $3000 buys this basket case on the way back together. Otherwise for us it will be another year before it can roll down the road under her own power. I will be happy to make arrangements to deliver/meet with the buyer anywhere in the continental US.

I have not posted pictures because it is in a garage and I will get the usual mirror, grille, door not-telling-much-of-the-whole-car-image. If I get any interest I will roll her out to the driveway and give her a good photo shoot.

Oh yeah I am serious now. Car has sat in garage untouched for a year. I have attached pictures. Will take $2100 for everything. Posting on CL here in Dallas also. If you want to buy parts I will sell the engine and tranny separately. We may lump if we get good money for the guts.

I have been PM'd a couple of times for a part here or there. my issue that I have with parting out the vehicle is this...it drags out for years I will end up netting half of what I could have with the whole car and I am stuck with leftovers that I have to dispose of.

So just a wild thought. But if there is a part that you want off this car post your need and the price. If it adds up to more than I want for the car I will cut loose with the wrenches and the bubble wrap and you will have your parts.

In the end I want to have my garage space back and enough money to buy some offshore fishing gear.

I will tally all offers and make a decision around Mid July.
