I need the small bolt that clamps the positive battery terminal. I have been watching eBay for a while and have not found one yet. I also need the bracket and bolts that hold the battery down.

Not really much but they are needed.

This is for my 1996 XJR. Forgot to mention that.

 

The bolt for the battery terminal clamp is a common size on many UK manufactured vehicles. If you search ebay for vehicle battery terminal clamp, it should turn up clamps with this size bolt. You'll probably have to buy the complete clamp but it's a low cost item.

Have you tried the dealer for the battery securing clamp (item 5)?

It could cost a lot less than you expect.

The same can't be said for the setscrews (item 6). These are just M8 x 20mm hex bolts which should be available from hardware/DIY outlets for a lot less than dealer price.

Thanks for the diagram, I had trouble finding that. I will order the battery hold down and I just ordered a t-bolt for a Audi that looks like it will work.
