Default FS '04 XJ8 56K miles, (NAV, Cell, Voice, Xenon etc.), warranty thru 5/11 $14.5K OBO

New price, lowered by $1.5K, final price, if I don't sell I will keep it, as there is nothing at all this car needs.

For sale is my 2004 Jaguar XJ8 4.2. Only 56,7xx miles with regular 5K oil changes. It is my daily driver for a 26 mile commute. I am the second owner, I have the original window sticker ($79K), all 3 keys, all manuals and all service records. The car has a clean title and no outstanding finance.

The car has been meticulously maintained at the local Jaguar dealership, there is no deferred maintenance. It has had no accidents, no paintwork, no smoking and no door dings. Always garaged even during the day.

Tim, I just registered for this site, but I'm unable to view your pictures or send you a pm for some reason. If your XJ8 is still available, could you give me a call? Thanks. Bill fritzo34@aol.com 954-605-8843

Sounds clean. What's not right with the car? Dings, clean carfax, etc...?

Jeffn - Absolutely nothing wrong with the car, it is absolutely perfect. No dings, no accidents, I'm the second owner. Very well optioned with Nav, Xenons, Voice & Phone. It has had 5k oil changes, and just had a major service and brake job and new serpentine belt. Carfax will reflect what I am saying. As I said in the original post, it has had a fair amount of warranty work including new fuel pump and fuel sender (they are combined into one unit) due to an intermittant fuel gauge and a new thermostat, and thermostat housing due to a slight weep, and a new expansion tank, again due to a slight weep. If I see anything at all that needs attention, it is fixed. In addition it is housed in a garage at night and a covered parking lot during the day.

Vice Guy - You have an email.

This looks like an excellent car. I'm betting that it doesn't last long. Somebody looking for a really clean x350 should grab this one. Really clean, well kept examples of these earlier "classic" years are becoming fewer.

Good luck with your sale.

Default Price lowered

Just lowered the price by $1K to $15K. You really will not find a better maintained, cleaner XJ8....

Tim,
The price you have on the car is more than fair!!!!! Are you going to put it on E bay? I think that where you will get the most action.

If I was in the mkt. it would be a strong continder. Stop dropping the price. Visability is the key in your case.

Thanks for the advice. I have it on CL and here, but I think I am just going to keep it. I just removed the PSE and old analog phone and replaced the PSE with the latest version, and then fitted the factory bluetooth adapter. Works like a champ with the iPhone, including copying my phone book over to the car. Very impressed. I think the 2004+ XJ8 is one in the car industries best kept secrets and I would not be selling it if I weren't moving to a part of the world where 4WD would be advantageous. I will probably drive it through the winter to get an idea of how usable the car is in winter conditions....

Thanks again
