Parting out 1987 Jaguar XJ6
Hey all.
I have a 1987 Jag XJ6 that I am parting out.
Everything is available including body parts (cheap) EXCEPT for the following;
Engine and Drive Train, Suspension and Steering, Wheels and Tyres, Seats
Dash Gauges, Air-Conditioning (Dash and many trim pieces available).
All these pieces are going in my 1950 Mark V.
The body is straight but paint is shot.
Plenty of other stuff if you are interested. Let me know (Glass, handles, badges, bumpers etc.);

I'll have to research and get back to you on that as far as the differences between 87 and 89. Unfortunately, the original wheels are gone and only the Dayton wire remain which I will be using on my Mark V

This is rather confusing as it appears they made both the XJ6 series III and the XJ40 during your model year (see Jaguar XJ - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia for more info). Do you know if your XJ is a Series III or XJ40? It will depend on this info to say if the items will work or not. And yes, I have all the interior trim in wood, and it is all in pretty good shape.

Yes, this stuff should be the same as your car. Let me know what you need, I will take it off the car, photograph it and send you the info

Alas, I don't think this car is compatible with yours. There are no struts for the hood and trunk, only hinges. There is no "pillar trim" only the wood trim under the window on the driver's sided door. I have Dayton wire so I can't help you with the hubcaps, and there is no wood on the shifter, it is black plastic (and the wood panel below it is completely shot). The only thing I might have is the dash pad under the glove box door, but at this point I am thinking you must have a different model than this. Let me know if you still want pics as I did take some, but I think we have incompatible cars my friend. Sorry
