Default For Sale - XK8 Nav system plus +++

Looking at converting the Nav in my 03 XK8 to the tipple gauge setup and want to see if there is any interest in my removed parts.

I have added to my system an interface to display a back up camera as well as tire pressure monitoring on the factory Nav screen, It also still displays the clock and I have the last disk made for the Nav system,

The clock normally displays, put car in reverse and the back up camera displays, push a wireless button I keep in my ash tray and the tire pressure displays. Everything works well and the dash panel is in excellent condition.

Everything will be included, dash panel, Nav disk player and all interfaces to make above detailed system work as well as tire pressure sensors that screw on the valve stems instead of the valve cap. Only thing I'm not including is the backup camera itself but they are under $30 on ebay.

The interface to supply the RGB video signal to the factory screen converted from RCA signal for the Tire pressure system and backup camera is around $350 if you can find one as they are out of production, add in the tire pressure monitoring system, the dash panel, the Nav disk player, Nav disk and the Nav screen and it all adds up to some $$$.

I can supply a wiring diagram to install, everything is connected in the truck, no wiring inside the car required.

Anyone interested in a system like this? I'm looking to get at least $300 for everything plus shipping.

Anybody got a triple gauge setup they want to trade??

Hi Jandreu,

I already have the same nav screen in my car and about to install back up camera, etc. already purchased a while back.
Any hints doing it?
Are you just going for the more classic look?
I can understand, there are only so many roads to learn (Lahaina bypass is handy but pretty easy to remember).
Sorry i ran out of time last two visits.
Probably back over there this summer.
Aloha

NP anytime you are on Maui look me up,
Yes just like the triple guage look but may not do the conversion as I like my backup camera and have yet to find a good alternative for a screen.

As for installing the camera for you it's likely a no brainier, hardest part was fishing the wire from the trunk lid to the dic player area for the camera. Steve, White XKR has an excellent wiring diagram for the connections. If you need the wiring dis grams let me know..

Jandreu,

I agree, White XKR is a great resource.
Even though I am an audio visual consultant, he seemed to have it so well under control I bought "kit" from him with harness, etc. and have the kit to make the temp gauge react better.

He was a great resource for the only other modification- tracking down an alpine component you plug in to wiring harness to allow I-pod plug in point and not screw up original connections, etc.

Hopefully can make the dive into the dash next week and take care of these accessories, that pesky light on climate control that takes an hour to get to, etc.

Mahalo,
Steven
