Haven’t measured if the pressure loss would add equal pressure gain, but the pressure difference (x RPM) is what costs the engine power to turn the roots blades. So increasing the speed will cost more and more power from the engine with less and less power to the wheels, to a point that you actually loose power. Whatever you make, keep this in mind and ensure an optimal flow of air with as low pressure in the intake as possible.
