Default X-Type Radiator Fan Module

I found a box of several NIB (new in box) X-Type Radiator Fan Control Modules (C2S 24957K). These are the updated modules for the faulty NAND GATE modules in the earlier cars. These will fit the 2002-2004MY cars but may work on later cars if the circuits and plugs are the same.

I am selling these for $125.00 to members of this forum and that includes shipping to the 48 contiguous states. I will list these at eBay for $150.00 with shipping included (48 contiguous states) but I'll wait a few days to see if all sell here.

Default Fan Control Modules

I would love to buy one. Please tell me how to get hold of you and we can exchange information. Am new to the forum so not well-versed in how to send private messages. Will research that now and send you my contact details if I can figure it out.

Default Received fan module

I received today, installed (2 hours), works exactly like it should. Unfotunately it didn't solve my A/C problem, but I wasn't really convinced it would anyway.

Thanks much!

I don't know what faults you have with the Climate Control but here is some old info for your car. You can find out if this update has been performed to your car.

Thanx motorman I actually got it saturday. That was fast!! Great doing business wit u. Will install it wednesday and see how it goes. The manufacturing date was actually earlier than the one that went bad n me so I guess even after the revision the module still had a tedency to fail.

I replaced alot of them both in warranty and customer pay. They do seem to fail more often than other Jag Models. Jaguar Warranty time for replacement was less than an hour but it is a little more difficult because of the tight space.

Yeah I got cuts on my arms to prove it. Took a half day off work today to work on it. My fans now purr like a cat. Lol. I dont see how anyone with average hands can work on it. You were not kidding about the tight space. I consider myself to have small hands and i couldnt get access to the connector on the passenger side fan. I took out the battery to have easier access and thought about taking off the airbox too but ending up crushing the bones in my hands and scratching my arms to get everything all plugged up. Once the fans started running when I turned on the air all the way up at the lowest temperature I guess I can say it was all worth it. Let me know if you still have some left over I might buy a spare

Here is the bad news we got when these cars were still in factory warranty. They actually cut the time to .8 hours. You can get faster at it when you do 1 or more a week.

I have a felling I may need one of these as well. Been researching why my AC isn't working on the forums. Looked at the fans while the car was running and AC turned on. They weren't moving.

Do you still have any?

Thank you,

kevin

Yes still have some left. Let me know if you need one and I'll get it shipped. You should diagnose the problem to be sure it is the controller and not a fuse or bad fans.

Thanks motorcarman. I'm going to see if I can diagnose the problem within the next day or so.
I'll get back to you.
