Hello everyone, I am new to the site, I have a 2003 s type with an issue. It is randomly displaying abs fault, dsc not available and the module itself under the radio isn't lit up. I cannot use my hazards, the seat warmers, locks or traction control button. Other than that the vehicle runs beautifully. Is there a fuse for the module I could locate an check or is it a common problem? Any information would be much appreciated.

 

First and foremost, check your battery is fully charged. Under the front of the drivers seat you will find the drivers seat module. Unplug it, check and clean the connector and then reconnect.

Then see what happens. If that doesn't work then you may have to remove the seat to check the wiring loom underneath for any possible damage.

ABS, DSC, etc..... likely to be a failing battery. (Starts engine, annoys modules.)

Well I have replaced the battery since I've gotten the vehicle. The entire module doesn't work, has my worked since I have owned the vehicle. the hazards don't work, nothing. All other modules I.e. Radio and heat work it's just the one bottom module. I will check that link and see if there is a fuse for the module
