Hello all, I just did a tune up (cleaned throttlebody and replaced all 6 plugs)on my 2000 s type and it still is running sluggish. I'm pretty sure it's the coils being I replaced all the plugs and it ran great for a few minutes and then the same thing once the car warmed up. Anywayjust wondering where I can get the best deal on NEW coils? Any info appreciated. Thanks
I have a misfire and was told it might be coils. Is it best to just change them all instead of finding out which one it is? Oh boy and brakes are next, These Jags are pocket monsters!

I went through Motorcars LTD out of Texas. $41.88 each new. I ended up just ordering 3 for the side under the manifold because I'm not going to rip off the manifold for a 3rd time, I also had oil down one hole on that side so looks like I need avalve cover gasket also. These cars can be costly to fix but if you can do some work yourself you can save a lot of money. The thing that sucks is when you don't get a check engine light to scan and point out which cylinder is missing. I'm pretty sure I have mine narrowed down but just doing all 3 at the same time to save on future labor.
Some generic scanners have misfire counters which tell you which cylinder is misfiring.
I feel bad when I do just one coil because customer's aftermarket warranty only covers the faulty coil.
They come back a month or 2 later with another misfire and they have to pay diagnostic and deductibles which
could have been avoided by doing all at once.
