Default 02 Jaguar S Type 3.0 ISSUE!!

Hello, I have an 02 S-type 3.0l that was recently not starting. I checked and replaced the coil fuse that was blown which got the car to start. After the car started I was getting three codes for the coil. I purchased motorcraft coils and replaced all three. So far the car does not indicate a misfire but when I accelerate the car refuses! It feels like it is being choked. I replaced the small elbow below the intake (it was crimped pretty bad). I thought that would help but apparently not. I am out of ideas! please help!

You need to post the codes the car is popping. Sounds like your vehicle is in "restricted performance" mode.

Along with the elbow did you replace the upper and lower intake manifold gaskets? How about the IMT O-rings?

Your MY (model year) is notorious for having vacuum line failures.

Are all wire connections tight? Are they all put back on?

Airbox lid fitted correctly? MAF sensor plugged back in?

Did you only replace bank 1 or bank 2 coils?

fastest..., joyce's jag and gus are spot on. vaccume leaks plague the V6 plus: perform a hard reset of ECU following the repair as a means to purge incorrect fuel/map/timing data.

Coil fuse? My 01 was blowing and eating coils with crap performance, and I had a chaffed wire(s). Just take a quick look where the loom passes behind the fuel connector guard. Very top back of the engine.
