02 S-type won't start
Help! Car won't start - battery works (ie seat moves up, lights come on and everything), but engine doesn't even try starting.
Any ideas on the possible causes? My gas gauge said I had about 23 miles left to go before empty. If it runs out of gas, does the engine not even try to start? I also just had my transmission rebuilt last month, so could this problem be related to that?

The good thing if it’s the fuel pump, there’s no need to drop the tank or cut anything. Just remove the ~8” cover over the fuel under the rear seat on the passenger side.
Before doing all that , check the usual suspects & see if the pump is getting power. These pumps are notorious for failing.
Good luck.
