I recently purchased an 03 S Type 4.2 and think the stereo and climate control console could use a facelift.

I can android android auto capable double din but that does not provide a complete update.

My question is.... does anyone know if the same console from a newer S Type with the full Nav could be installed into my 03?

Open to alternative suggestions as well.

What have you got now?

 

Currently there's the old style liquid crystal display for the stereo and climate controls that pre-dates the full colour NAV display from more recent years.

 

Then there are threads already aren't there?

Not for the faint of heart.

You'll likely find enough to choke on here in the S_type section, but if not, expand your search in the audio/visual electronics section.
