Were there any differences/changes/updates between the 2007 and 2008 S-Type 3.0? I read somewhere that the 08 had 18 in. wheels as standard. Any other differences?

 

I thought I read about some of the differences somewhere. Maybe wikipedia has some of that info. Some of that info I think might also be listed somewhere in the S-Type FAQ. Did you check that out yet? I think someone supplied a brochure for some of the models that had that type of info.

 

Since 2008 marked the end of the production line for the S-Type, I'm guessing that the differences between the 2007 and 2008 models are negligible and most differences may not even be documented. By the last production-year run, I'm sure Jaguar was basically emptying the parts bin and attempting to utilize most of whatever they already had on hand to keep costs to a minimum in new owner Tata's best interests....

 

Doesn't all 2008's have the same front bumpers as the R's of previous yrs.?

no changes in the last production year, back when they were switching over the XK8 to the new 07 model they used some of their left over parts & materials (actual prodcution for many of the 06 XK8's took place in 05)on the S-Type Sport Pkgs like I got. I think it is actually a pretty smart move by Jaguar, allows you to get a limited production vehicle if you are a collector.
