There are no hidden fasteners of any type??

 

Only one there may be is in the sunglass holder. Open it and look straight up. It would be a 90 degree twist out thing. They kind of did away with them though. Now it is all clips.
It is going to be pretty tight to get it out.
Any reason in particular you are going there?

 

It's where I usually go to tap 12v for a radar detector, so I don't have a cord hanging around.

 

Ahh nice. You know there is an auxilliary power connector on the right underside of the dash. 3 pin connector with power, ground and remote. Just throwing that out there.[&:]

 

Thanks, that sounds like a good idea too. Where exactly would I find it under there?

 

You have to get your head under there but it is on right side against wall pretty high
