Default 19k & 3rd set of brakes??

My 07 is apparently needing it's a 3rd set of brakes/rotors with just under 19k on the clock. The original owner got fleeced by the *********** at 8k for new brakes. My honest tech said they are almost gone and the rotors are thin also at under 19k miles. WTH? Brakes used to go 25-35k in the olden days...

Any suggestions as to parts recommendations? I do drive deep into corners, certainly more than thew 93 y.o. orig owners.

Hmmm I wonder if this is one of the many vehicles I see driving down the highway with the driver unknowingly depressing brake pedal at 70 mph.

Switch to ceramic pads, less brake dust another plus!

Not under my foot but perhaps the 1st 9000 miles with the original owner. But this set only has 10k on them-my tech said maybe another 2500 before they're gone.

And it must have been oem parts as the orig owner always wen to the Miami *********** for service-even a 30k service at 8000 miles.

Investigate what's wrong with the specific car.

It just dawned on me that maybe they just charged for a brake job and didn't do diddley...it was S. Florida after all. They could be OEM from Coventry...

Did they ship the car to Coventry and back. That could be why they charged 8k. Being serious they may have just replaced the pads.
