2000 Jaguar DONT KNOW WHATS MAKING THIS SOUND

My Friend brother got this 2000 jag stype with 130 xxx miles on it.... It got candy paint too...RIMS NOT INCLUDED.. HE ONLY ASKING 4300.... The catch is whn it starts the car makes a wierd noise... These words came out his mouth he drives the car everyday because he jus got a 745 that he candy painted and he selling the jag to get some rims...... I been pricing Jags and i was going to spend around 6000....... You think i should get this Jag jus get it fixed cause watever it is cant be more than 1700 to get fixed........
SO WHAT YALL THINK CATCH IT FOR LIKE 4300 GET IT FIXED

I'm almost speechless...that car really needs those rims...are you sure he won't include them?

PS It's quite easy for a repair on a Jaguar can cost more than $1700
