Default 2000 S Type

Well I got my car running by replacing the computer bought 2 Trottle Bodys Map Sensor and A lot of other stuff. Yesterday got new tires for it and been driving it and having fun with the car. First Jaguar I have owned and sure was hard to get back on the road. One thing now I need to check out is the flashing light for the DSC. I also have some rattling in the sunroof area. When I bought the car it had been setting A year or more. Seems the Jag is most cars I have worked on in my life but I am happy to get it going after working on it for A year now. The car is quriky but can be fixed when you take it to those who have the right scaner. When I had it towed too British Auto Specialists told them to keep it as long as they wanted but was shocked when they called me the next day and said your Jag is ready. Cost me 650 but well worth it in my book.

You need to DIY with these cars. You will go broke paying for repairs.

We have almost everything documented in this forum.
