I had to change the transmission plug while the transmission was full. I lost maybe a few tablespoons. The car still shifted fine on a short run. The fluid was in great shape . "smelled and looked good" If there is lack of fluid will it show up at higher speeds or does the old adage "Don't fix it if it ain't broke" apply here.The screw for checking the level is tight and I don't won't to strip it.
