I was having a problem with the engine shutting down runs great for 10-15 the Eng. just shuts down always starts back up after awhile. after installing a new fuel pump and changed the relay replaced the fuel filter no help, thought the new pump may be over heating so replaced it with a norther brand still ( no joy) I checked the the shadier vale on the fuel rale lot of presser sprayed fuel strong cranked up the Eng. and with the back seat still out disconnected the power from the fuel pump and the car still ran for awhile and finally died ? pulled up the mat behind the drivers seat and found what looks like another pump I reconnected the new pump and disconnected the power to the 2cd one( Full Joy) the car has ran for over 2 hours with out a glitch put the car back together and gave it back to the wife( Happy Wife Happy Life ) checked the 2cd pump it looks like just a backup pump and fuel gage with both pumps working it was over pressuring the fuel system and the regulator was shutting off the car the only side effect is the fuel gage with the tank full only reads 1/2 tank
