Hello,

Been thoroughly checking front suspension for low-speed knocking/ loose feel on steering.

Front sway links are loose/worn at lower ball joints - £90 each !

Both front shock lower bushings have play (around 6mm) - with the pry bar wedged and one hand on top of tyre it is possible to feel the whole assembly moving - this can't be good.

Bottom ball joints + control arms solid.

My question is - these front shock absorbers retail £110 genuine jaguar each - are they actually a Ford part ?

What is the part number stamped on them? The problem with shocks is there are several ones for each car because of the CATS, Sport and other options.
