Default 2000 s type(window rails)

If any one can pls let me know can I use a ford replacement window regulator w/o the motor for a 2000 s type? Any input is appreciated.

I read somwhere that Lncoln sells theregulator that fits Jag. I had a mechanic do mine so I don't know how to install but someone on this sight will.

yea I checked up other comments somone has installed the LS rail and works fine. Thanks for the feedback Kazsam. I actually got mine just today from ebay for $200 with motor and is the updated part. Jag wanted $300 just for the rail w/o motor. So quite a bit of savings there.

If you have the time and can do the work yourself you can save a load of money. charge youself $135.00 diagnostic fee, put it in the bank. REMEMBER THIS when you open a car door an the S Type make sure your window is either fully up or fully down. Anywhere inbetween and the cheap plastic clips on old railswill crack from the weight of the window and your window will slowly sink.
