Located in Southern Illinois. Need someone who can flash ABS control module on a 2001 S-Type. Dealer cant go back past 2006. HELP PLEASE!!!

Sorry, can’t help with finding a shop that can help. Are there any independent Jaguar specialist shops nearby? I know of one in my neck of the woods (People’s Republic of Oregan) but that isn’t much help.

What symptoms are you seeing? Are you sure the module needs to be flashed?

One thought is some (but not all) of the various modules can be replaced with another used unit as long as it has the EXACT part number on the tag. A brand new module would need to be programmed, but a used one already has the software loaded. Think eBay for one good source. Hopefully somebody else can chime in if the ABS module can be swapped out like that.

 

Why does it need doing? (It nearly never does...)
