Ok, haven't posted in a while and this one seems kinda trivial but extensive searching here and on google have yielded zero results. Just picked this car up a few weeks ago. I see whole cup holder assemblies on eBay for about 60 bucks but would hope I could just fix mine. Was working fine, you closed the lid, it stayed closed. You push down on lid it opened.

Now it won't stay shut. You can feel a little catch in the movement like its trying but it won't stay.

Truthfully, I cannot even figure out how it comes out of the console. I don't want to force anything cuz I know how brittle and easy it is to break 13 year old plastic interior bits.
