Angry 2001 s type problem cold starting

2001 s type 3.0 when temp is below 35 degrees car cranks great but wont catch, just had full tune up with new coil packs, usully after three trys she will start strong, tryed turning key to on position 3 times and then to start, usully will work, mechinic says there are no codes thrown but it could be crank sensor, fuel filter, or might even be fuel pump any ideas?

If you can cycle the key off and on several times and then it starts better that tells you it's a fuel problem. I would change the filter first and then change the pump.

Your car is now 10+ years old. How many miles on the car??

PS; Your mechanic should know this??
