I Would like to switch from my stock Stereo to an after market so i can use my amp and subs and ipod problom is no one seems to have a dash kit but online i see tons of people with after market stereo in pre 2003 models some one know where to find on or what i need to do to fit an after market stereo..

 

You can squeeze a double din unit into the dash where the standard unit fits, it's very tight, and the coin tray can need some tweaking, but well worth the effort, here's my 01 S-stype -

I did a bit more fettling to the coin tray after I took this pic.

 

You need forum member and STR owner; George. Look for a call name something that goes like; "androikalis"? or something close to this. He's an audiophile's audiophile.

 

Thanks you Guys for the Answers it gives me hope .. I have added The Amo And a Alpine dvc 2ohm per coil S type Sub now i just need the deck and to up grade alll this door speakers .. What a Job but God i love this Car ..
