just rebuilt complete motor for a friend. Tried to start but no fuel or spark. has fuel to rail. has good compression could this be a ground issue to the computer HELP!!

 

We will need more information. It could be anything at this point.

Use OBD tool. Codes? Post 'em. None? Read sensors. All OK then you're chasing something like a flooded engine or cable left off.

 

Thanks for the response and suggestions. I resolved the problem from one of a past response on another question asked. .........I connected the battery cables for 5 min and it started right up. But now I have another problem, upon starting the engine the timing chains are noisy seemed to be upper chains. Knowing the conditions of the chains and tensioners I pulled the timing cover off to check any visual problem. I did discover that there is no oil pressure at the tensioners. There is good pressure at the camshafts on both sides of motor. any input would be helpful, maybe a schematic of oil galleys. Is a 2003 s type type r 4.2
