I think I posted this before but it's been awhile and I can't figure out how to find the thread. Anyway, the emergency hand brake works when yoour pull it up but it does not stay up...it does not engage in the up position. Any ideas. TIA.

 

I saw your original post and can only think that the ratchet mechanism in the handle is broken or jammed.
