My son was holding the door handle on the outside as I unlocked the doors. Now the door will not open. The lock handle looks like it is sitting opened a bit. How do I get the door opened?

 

You don't say what car you have.

Go round to the other side of the car open that door, then finish opening or closing the problem door from the inside.

Might be different depending on what car you have.

 

I have a 2002 s-Type. The rear passenger door does not open because the outside handle was being held while I unlocked the door from the inside, now the door lock seems jammed and will not open from the inside or the outside. It seems like the lever has been disingaged from the latch assembly. What can I do?

 

Hi Vito, going to move this over to the S-Type section, hopefully the guys will be able to help you out, or in, as it were.

 

I think you are going to have to pop the door card and see what has jammed up if all "jiggling" has failed.
