I know it's in here somewhere, but I haven't had any luck finding the torque sequence and tightening specs with the "search feature". Could you direct me to the proper thread?

This is a 'Generic" V8 tightening sequence. I was told by a mechanic who does this everyday on cars that they do the sequence as 1,2 then 7,10 and 8,9 followed by 3,5,4,6. He said to first tighten these to 13 ft lbs and then come back and tighten to the 16 ft lbs .
