Another vote for the ELM327. JagV8 kept talking about it until I got one. It's just too cheap to NOT have one. This is one case where the cheap Chinese junk on EBay works fine. At least for me. I will be picking up the BT version as I am tired of stringing the cable around!

Do you remember where you purchased all the parts ( plugs, seals. ect..) and how much they were? I think I have to do something similar to my 03 str and I was wondering if you can point me in the right direction?

I would use the forum sponsor Jaguar of Greenville. 864-288-7575.

Tell them your on the forum and you get 15% off list and free shipping if it's over $25. Jeff Durham has always been a big help to me.

Have your VIN when you call. Mainly the last 7 digits. That's how Jaguar identifies the car. Not so much by year like other car makers.

We tend to get railroaded up here in Canada when it comes to auto purchase and repair costs. But we are Canadian. Canadians get it up the wazoo and say "Thank you very much" as you probably already know.

Cheers.

Ok, upon the drive home with the car I noticed a vibration at 70mph coming from the rear of the car. Its definitely a bearing. I don't think it's coming from the transmission.
