Good Morning all,
I have a 2003 s-type jaguar. (3.0) and wanted to see if anyone knew anything about bluetooth in that car. When i checked my vin number, it says that it does have bluetooth on it, but when i went to a local shop, my friend said that i need a bluetooth module. Does any one know if its true and where i can get one- dont want to pay dealer's price.

Do a search, lot's on topics with this subject. Just cause you have the bottons, don't meen you have it. It was an option.

Where did you "check your VIN number"?? The 2003 S-Type could only have a bluetooth phone added if the VIN# was later than M89854 as stated in the attached accessory bulletin.

Hi Peter Munton, Dublin, Ireland here.I have just purchased a 2006 S Type 3.0 also a Sony Xperia J mobile phone I can pair them no problem but the address book does not transfer to the car.I had an old phone and I could transfer the address book so I know I am using the correct method. So to my Question, can the bluetooth software be updated, or can an upgrade bluetooth module be purchased
